Mount Barker District Council provides a range of community services to assist eligible residents to remain living independently in their own homes, including:

• People over 65 years of age
• People of any age with disabilities

Home Assist

Home Assist provides assistance with minor home and garden maintenance and support with cleaning.  The emphasis is on maintaining and regaining independence.

Social Options

A range of social activities and assistance is available for eligible residents who have difficulty getting out and about. Information about social activities in the community is also provided.

Transport

Information about transport options in the Adelaide Hills including community transport.

Care Options and Respite

Information about services available in the community for unpaid carers.
