It is a requirement of the Development Regulations 2008 Regulation 74(1) that Council receives notification at certain stages during building work so that we may schedule inspections. A minimum of one business days notice is required. The mandatory inspections include: 1. Commencement of work, 2. Footing concrete pour, 3. Completion of framing (2 clear business days required), 4. Completion of fire rated walls, 5. Completion of building works, 6. Swimming pool and spa Installation date, 7. Completion of swimming pool and spa permanent barriers

Failure to comply with legislated timeframe(s) may result in the following fines: $210 - swimming pool and spas; $500 - others
