Code of Practice for Meeting Procedures and Council Meeting Templates
Deputations (R11) are an important part of community participation in the decision-making process, providing individuals or groups in the community with an opportunity to present their opinions to the meeting. The Local Government (Procedures at Meetings) Regulations 2013 (the Regulations) provide that a person who wishes to appear as a Deputation and address the Council meeting on a matter must make the request in writing (R11).
If you would like to make a Deputation to Council please follow this link Request for Deputation

There has always been the option for the public to contact council by telephone during business hours or via email if further clarity on a matter considered by Council is required. Customer requests can also be raised on line via council's website. This continues to be encouraged.
Council receives many requests for funding assistance from individuals and groups.
Funding can be applied for as part of Community Grants, Events Support Program, Environmental Grants, and the Heritage Incentive Scheme. View the relevant page on Council's website for further information.
Ward Donations
Ward donations are another avenue for small amounts of funding.
