Library Reopening FAQs
Yes, the library will be open its usual business hours which are:
Monday 9am - 7pm
Tuesday 9am - 5pm
Wednesday 9am - 5pm
Thursday 9am - 8pm
Friday 9am - 5pm
Saturday 9am - 4pm
2 hour timeslots are available. You can do this from our website https://library.mountbarker.sa.gov.au or call us on 8393 6400
Some of our regular programs such as Knit, Stitch, Knot and Book clubs are now back up running. Story Time and Giggle Time sessions have also resumed.
Please note, bookings are now necessary and can be done at https://mbcl.eventbrite.com.au
Yes, the toy library is open again with regular hours of:
Monday 5pm-7pm
Tuesday 11am - 12:30pm
Wednesday 11am - 12:30pm and 3pm-4:30pm
Thursday 11am - 12:30pm and 6pm-8pm
Friday 11am-12:30pm
Yes, toys can be returned as per the usual process. If the toy library is closed, please bring to the front desk.
Study spaces and facilities are available, with physical distancing recommended.
The JP service is available in the library at their usual time of Thursday evenings, 6pm-7:30pm.
Yes, the library staff can provide you with a physical library card which will be added to your digital membership. You’ll have access to all the library resources available, both physical and digital.
