South Eastern Freeway Notice of Works and Detours
Starting from Monday 23 March, The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will be undertaking asphalt resurfacing works (plane and reinstate) on the South Eastern Freeway across a 3.6 kilometre section of the outbound lanes near Mount Barker. All works except for line marking are being undertaken at night between the hours 7pm to 5am, and are expected to be completed by early May 2020, weather permitting.
The footprint of the works include the Mount Barker Interchange off ramp from Adelaide and on-ramp to Murray Bridge, necessitating the closure of the two ramps at various points. During these closures detours will need to be in place via the Bald Hills Road interchange. The proposed dates for the closures are as follows:
- - Sunday 29th March – SE Freeway Off Ramp from Adelaide closed, 7pm – 5am
- - Monday 30th March – SE Freeway Off Ramp from Adelaide closed, 7pm – 5am
- - Wednesday 1st April – SE Freeway On Ramp to Murray Bridge closed, 7pm – 5am
- - Three more nights required in mid to late April. Dates to be confirmed.
Should you have any concerns regarding these works or if you require further information, please telephone 1300 794 880 or email email@example.com.
