YMCA SA Junior Parliament Program - Applications open
Calling young people aged 12-15.
Council is sponsoring up to 5 spots for young people who live in the district to be part of the YMCA SA Junior Parliament program.
Junior Parliament is a non-partisan program providing a platform for young South Australians to have their say on important issues, build skills and parliamentary education. It provides a forum where they can express their views in a safe and supported environment. It’s all about personal development, youth empowerment and connecting politicians and decision makers with youth voices and opinions.
Who: The program is open to anyone in South Australia aged 12-15 years.
What: Participants take part in a 3 day/2 night camp
When: 14-16 December 2020
Where: Nunyara Conference Centre
Cost: $240 per person inclusive of meals, accommodation and transport.
To be part of one of the five spots Council is sponsoring, simply nominate that you live in the Mount Barker Council area.
Applications close 30 November 2020.
