Following the recently completed drainage and railway crossing works on Fletcher Road, Mount Barker, Councils contractor will be applying asphalt to the Linear trail from the railway bridge through to Alexandrina Road to replace the existing rubble surface.

Works are planned to commence the week of 17 March through  with construction to be complete by the end of March.

A portion of Fletcher Road adjacent to the railway crossing will be closed intermittently during this time to facilitate the works.

As detours will be in place for the duration of these closures, please plan to use an alternative route so you aren’t delayed. If you do come across road works, be on the lookout for changed road conditions and posted signage to keep everyone safe on the roads.
