township plan

Council has endorsed a Township Plan for Nairne on 11 February 2013 (minutesagenda). The plan was developed in association with the community to provide a long term vision for the town, identifying key objectives and priorities across a number of themes to ensure that the town continues to develop as a highly liveable place. This project is part of a Council initiative which will see Townships Plans developed for all major settlements throughout the District by 2020.

Nairne Main Street Master Plan

An action born out of the Nairne Township Plan, the ReNew Nairne Main Street Master Plan was endorsed by Council on 19 October 2015 (agenda / minutes). The Plan sets a vision for the future design and upgrade of the Nairne Main Street and has been developed following significant community feedback resulting in priority actions and design principles being established for the street.
