Picturesque Harrogate is where you will find a delightful picnic spot beside a winter creek, as well as tennis courts for hire, toilets available behind the historic RSL Hall. The Harrogate Cemetery is a tranquil spot (made even more attractive by mature trees) with graves dating back to 1866 - 1874.

Council endorsed a Township Plan for Harrogate and Brukunga at its 1 June 2020 meeting (minutes / agenda). The plan was developed in association with the community to provide a long-term vision for these towns, and to assist in the recovery from the recent fire event prioritising the delivery of short-term actions and create strategies designed to help mitigate the risks of similar events occurring in the future.
