New Footpath Program

New Footpaths Strategy

Council endorsed the New Footpaths Strategy in 2021 consisting of an $11 million investment over 10 years and supported the development of a detailed program of works.

The investment into new footpaths and the coming year's program is reviewed each year as part of the development of the annual business plan and budget.  Refer to the table below for the latest on design, construction and footpaths included for the year.

The work will necessitate closing sections of the road for a period of time on the day that construction is undertaken.  During this time there may be limited access to driveway entrances and vehicles should not be left parked on the road.
