Bindi Blacher

Bindi facilitates therapeutic, creative engagement across the arts modalities (visual art, music, movement, drama, story, play etc) for groups and individuals. She loves all things creative and holds a deep conviction that art is a powerful tool for healing and wellbeing. Bindi is experienced working in a clinical environment and brings to her work an understanding of people with trauma and complex needs. She runs a private practice near Mount Barker. Bindi holds a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice through MIECAT and is a lecturer there. Bindi comes from a performance arts background and is an established songwriter. She has performed original songs for many years both solo and in diverse genres of local bands. Winner of multiple songwriting awards, she is primarily a vocalist, guitarist and drummer, and has released four albums of original music, most recently “Kilter” (available to listen to on all streaming platforms).
