Request for Proposal - Cat Impound Facility

Council invites proposals for the operation of a Cat Impounding Facility.

The Council is responsible for making satisfactory arrangements for the impounding of cats seized under the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995 (the “Act”).  Facilities must be adequately managed to ensure the health, security and welfare of impounded cats. To ensure this the Council will make formal arrangements with a Facility Operator(s) which stipulate the roles and daily operational requirements of the Operator, as required under the Act.

Council invites Proposals from Facility Owners/Operators who consider their Facilities and operations appropriately suited to meet the requirements set out in the “Guideline for Council facilities used for the detention of dogs and cats under the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995”.
