The Evaluation of Tenders

Tenders are typically evaluated on the basis of value for money tender in terms of cost, quality and where applicable, local business support and recycled content. The evaluation criteria will be published in the Request for Tender or Quote documents.

Submissions will be evaluated against these criteria by individuals or teams, and scores moderated, and consensus agreed.

We may invite short-listed bidders to a tender clarification meeting and/or provide demonstrations. This will be detailed in the tender documentation with the intention to clarify a proposal.

Feedback on Tenders

We will let you know whether your bid is successful or not and are happy to provide feedback when asked, without breaching commercial confidentiality.
