| Background: | Directly impacted residents will receive advance notification regarding the commencement date. Unless otherwise advised, typical construction hours will occur between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday. During the course of these works, vehicle access to properties may be temporarily restricted, particularly where works are being undertaken across affected driveways. Council’s contractor will implement reasonable measures to minimise inconvenience wherever possible. Council respectfully requests that any privately planted vegetation encroaching upon the footpath area be pruned prior to the commencement of works. Should vegetation be found to obstruct the footpath or impede the footpath renewal, Council reserves the right to prune or remove such vegetation at its discretion. During construction of the footpath works, please adhere to any traffic control signage and detours that may be in place and plan alternate routes to avoid delay in reaching your destination. Council endeavours to complete the Footpath Renewal Program within the indicated year, however the program can be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs the affected segment will be scheduled in a future works program. |
