Notice of Works - Road Re-sheeting Commencing

Council is committed to maintaining all unsealed roads in good condition to ensure a safe and accessible environment for the community. A number of roads have been selected and scheduled for renewal throughout the financial year as part of the ongoing re-sheeting/renewal program.

The scope of works may include tree pruning, drainage improvements, and road surface upgrades. Road markings may be applied to indicate the start and end points of the works, as well as the location of underground services. Driveways will be blended into the new road surface to maintain access to properties.

To safely carry out these works, sections of the road may operate with reduced speeds on the days construction is undertaken. During this time, access to driveways may be limited. However, every effort will be made on site to ensure safe vehicle access is maintained during road formation.

Council will endeavour to minimise inconvenience to residents and road users. It is recommended that alternative routes be planned while works are underway. Road users are asked to follow any detours and traffic management directions to avoid delays.

Council aims to complete the Unsealed Road Re-sheeting/Renewal Program within the current financial year. However, the schedule may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, any affected segments will be rescheduled in a future works program.
