School Program

Mount Barker District Council provides free School Immunisation Program vaccines for Year 7 and Year 10 students under the National Immunisation Program.

The following vaccinations are offered for students enrolled in Year 7 and Year 10:

Year 7 Students

• Diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough booster (dTpa)
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Year 10 Students

• Meningococcal ACWY vaccine
• Meningococcal B vaccine

If a student is absent or unwell on the day of the immunisation school visit, the parent/legal guardian will be notified and receive information on where to catch up missed vaccines.

Mount Barker District Council also provides the School Immunisation Program for schools located in the Adelaide Hills Council area.
