Youth Sector

Mount Barker District Council is proud to support the Adelaide Hills Youth Sector Network, a collaborative network of professionals who work with and for young people across the Adelaide Hills and surrounding regions.

The network meets quarterly and provides a space for youth workers and sector professionals to connect, share updates, explore opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen relationships across services. Meetings are informal, practical, and focused on supporting better outcomes for young people through connection and information sharing.

Youth Sector Email Distribution List

To support ongoing connection between meetings, we coordinate a Youth Sector email distribution list using SimpleList.

This mailing list is designed to help the youth sector stay informed and connected between network meetings. It can be used to share:

  • Upcoming programs, events, and services for young people
  • Referral opportunities and service availability
  • Training, conference, and professional development opportunities
  • Grants and funding opportunities
  • Employment opportunities within the youth sector
  • Requests for partnerships, collaboration, or sector support

The list is open to professionals working with young people, including (but not limited to) youth workers, social workers, case managers, counsellors, teachers, wellbeing staff, health professionals, police, community development officers, and staff working in government and not-for-profit organisations.
