Letter of Support Requests
In October 2024, a new Letter of Support Procedure was introduced. This Procedure sets out how Council will respond to requests for Letters of Support for grant funding applications.
Letters of Support are an important part of grant requests as they demonstrate to potential funding partners that the application has support from the local council.
It is important to note that Council (including Council Members) will not provide Letters of Support for Council-funded grants and programs. Furthermore, Council Members as individuals in their capacity as a council member are not authorised to provide Letters of Support.
Before you begin to apply for the funding, ensure you have read the grant guidelines and application form so that you know what is required and the supporting information you need.

To request a Letter of Support, the online form will need to be completed. Please allow enough time between submitting a request and when the funding program closes to ensure the request can be reviewed and actioned accordingly.
