Flaxley is a beautiful small town situated between Echunga, Macclesfield & Meadows, and famous for its rolling hills, open space and green farm lands. 
Originally purchased by English settler Robert Davenport in 1843, the name Flaxley is derived from a Village in Gloucestershire, England. 
Flaxley has a church, tennis club and a community hall and is part of the Battunga Country region.
