Community Grants
Council is committed to encouraging community groups in the council area to deliver projects that are of benefit to the community. The Community Grant scheme is a way of empowering communities to apply for funding to progress and improve their local area through planned assistance and equitable distribution of limited funding from council.
Please note the Community Grants Guidelines have been updated. Further, as 2026/27 is an election year, there are a number of changes to the program. Key changes include:
- A maximum funding amount of $5,000.
- Only one round of grant funding will be offered in 2026/27. As such, an applicant can apply more than once, for different projects.
- Quotes must be provided for any project expenses of $500 and above.
- Applicants must provide an annual financial statement from the previous financial year.
