Community Development Lead Strategy

Council endorsed the Community Development Lead Strategy (the Strategy) at their meeting on 7 June 2021 (agenda / minutes).

The Strategy is a 5-year strategy that identifies key actions to assist the development of our community. Its purpose is to better understand the pressures and opportunities for our communities and to provide a sense of focus for Council, community and our partners to work together. The four key themes of the Strategy are:

1. People - a healthy, vibrant and safe community
2. Participation - an engaged and caring community
3. Place - creating identity, culture and connection
4. Prosperity - living, working and doing business in the region
