Day Paddock Park

The Day Paddock Park is a conservation reserve with a walking trail which contains prolific wildflowers including a variety of native orchids in spring.

Flora and fauna:

The reserve contains significant remnant native vegetation consisting of open forest of stringy barks Eucalyptus obliqua, manna gum Eucalyptus viminalis, red gum Eucalyptus camaldulensis and blue gum Eucalyptus leucoxylon. The dense understorey includes acacias, pultanea, bursaria, lomandra and native grasses. As a “Bush for Life” site, the reserve is cared for by local volunteers involved in bush regeneration.
