Notice of Works - Gardner Street Littlehampton

Date of Works: Monday 8 March to Friday 3 May 2024, between 9.00am till 3.00pm, Monday to Friday and 7.00am to 5.00pm Saturday (weather/ technical constraints dependant).

T & J Constructions Pty Ltd have applied to Council and have been granted approval to undertake road closure/ traffic management along Gardner Street Littlehampton for prior approved extensive earthworks/ road works consisting of new sewer, storm water, potable water, and kerbing infrastructure.

In order to undertake the works, there will be temporary full and half road closures along Gardner Street Littlehampton between Princes Highway to, and including Fulford Terrace as the works progress.

The works are to commence Monday 18 March and conclude on Friday 3 May 2024 (weather and technical constraints dependant - all construction activities are subject to weather and may have to be rescheduled, should this occur, T & J Constructions shall notify the affected residents/ businesses accordingly).

The works and full/ partial road closure will be undertaken in stages along Gardner Street between the hours of 9.00am till 3.00pm, Monday to Friday and where required, Saturday between the hours of 7.00am till 5.00pm.

T & J Constructions Pty Ltd will endeavour to complete the works as quickly as reasonably practical and affected residents/ businesses along Gardner Street will notified as works progress.

Workzone traffic management will be in place for the safety of the workers and the community (please see traffic management plans below); there will be temporary road closures and partial road restrictions (contra/ alternating flow);  residential/ business access shall be reinstated at the end of each day’s work, Council/ delivery/ residential vehicles may be provided access to properties during the works where possible.

Road users are asked to observe workzone traffic management in place when travelling through the area and in some instances, may need to seek an alternative route.

Whilst some temporary disruption to pedestrian/ vehicular movement will be experienced at times as the works progress,  T & J Constructions Pty Ltd  will endeavour to minimise disruption to road users, apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding during this important work.
