GET (Graffiti Eater Team) Proud Graffiti Program

Mount Barker District Council (MBDC) acknowledges that graffiti is an issue which generates widespread concern and can impact on our community in a variety of ways.

Rapid response and removal of graffiti is proven to be an effective control measure.

Council is delighted to be a collaborative member of the volunteer GET (Graffiti Eater Team) Proud Graffiti Program which removes graffiti throughout the community.

The Program was developed early 2013 as a collaborative Pilot Project between, MBDC, Business Mount Barker, Adelaide Hills Toyota, Workskil, Cambridge Gas Supplies, Bluestone, Neighbourhood Watch and SAPOL.

Our team of 4 dedicated volunteers patrol Mount Barker one morning a week and their efforts have been very successful in fighting the war against Graffiti in our community.  Positive feedback has been received from Community members and local business.

Currently the team is limited to removing graffiti from Council assets, signs, and ETSA boxes.  However, if our GET Proud team are not able to do the clean up, your report will be referred on to an appropriate provider.

Community members are encouraged to contact Council and report graffiti.  There are two convenient ways to do so.  You can either lodge your report via the form below or contact our Customer Service Team on 8391 7200.

If you have been a victim of graffiti please call SAPOL on 131 444 and lodge a report.
