New Speed Limit for Bald Hills Road
Bald Hills Road from Scarborough Way to the Springs Road Roundabout now has the permanent speed of 60km/h as of 7 March 2024.
Council resolved to pursue the reduction of speed in this section of road in conjunction with the construction and opening of the Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre (RALC) and we have now received all the necessary legislative approvals to be able to implement the reduced speed to 60km/h.
The continued construction of the RALC will see some traffic management needed for various construction vehicles to enter the site and SA Water and other services will be needing traffic management as they work on the adjacent SA Ambulance site.
Observe all traffic signs as they may frequently be different each time you travel through the area.
Please take care when using this section of Bald Hills Road, there's lots of activity while Council and other agencies build infrastructure for the district.
