Policies And By-laws

What are by-laws and what are they for?

By-laws are local laws established by councils which can be used to deal with issues specific to the relevant council area. Mount Barker District Council has established the following by-laws under the Local Government Act 1999. These by-laws apply only within the Council's boundary.
