Trails and Underpasses

There are a number of trails throughout the district,  connecting outlying residential areas to shops, recreation areas and town centres.

These trails can be sealed or unsealed, but all play a part in getting around the district.

Some of the trails go under main roads such as Adelaide Road, Hutchinson Street and Bald Hills Road or under the railway line.

Please take notice of of the signage as you enter the underpasses as they are designed to flood when there is a significant amount of rain.

Trail users will need to use the alternative route around the underpass until the water level has subsided and Council's maintenance team have cleaned the underpass of silt and debris.
