No Interest Loan Scheme - NILS
NILS is a No Interest Loan Scheme for people on a low income who cannot obtain fair and affordable credit. No Interest Loans (NILS) for anyone adversely impacted by the Coronavirus will be made available soon. However, anyone needing immediate assistance can apply for a NILS loan through our existing program, although this loan has narrower criteria and is not for bills. Australian Tax Office – Early release Superannuation
If you have been financially affected by COVID-19, you may be able to access some of your superannuation early.
Eligible citizens and permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand can apply for up to $10,000 in 2019–20 and up to a further $10,000 in 2020–21.
Applications for early release of superannuation are accepted through ATO online services via myGov.
Services Australia – Childcare
Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy won’t be paid between 6 April and 28 June 2020. You won’t need to pay fees if you access child care during this time.
Paid Pandemic Leave Scheme in SA
The South Australian Paid Pandemic Leave Scheme provides financial support to eligible South Australian workers who are required to self-isolate or quarantine because of a public health direction from SA Health and mandatory COVID-19 testing, and do not have access to paid leave or other income support. The Scheme came into effect from 24 August 2020.
