Stay Connected

The Covid-19 Pandemic has led to an increased level of isolation and anxiety for some people in the community. During this time, it is even more important to think of others, consider your actions and be patient and kind.

Think about ways you can stay connected with your family, friends and neighbours, especially those who live alone.

There are some simple things you can do each day to stay connected:

  • Set aside some time each day to phone a friend or a family member.
  • Go for a walk and chat to those you see along the way.
  • Leave a note for your neighbour and suggest a time for a cuppa and a chat (whilst maintaining social distance).
  • Volunteer (see Volunteering SA www.volunteeringsa-nt.org.au – includes pandemic volunteering opportunities)

Wellbeing SA is a state government agency leading a renewed focus on prevention and supporting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of all South Australians.
