NOTICE OF WORKS - ASPHALT FOOTPATH RENEWAL
MATTHEW SMILLIE RESERVE, NAIRNE
Council are commencing the renewal of the existing asphalt footpath within the Matthew Smillie Reserve starting on Monday 23rd October 2023.
This footpath connects Jeffrey Street to Britannia Road through the reserve. The works are anticipated to take a month, with segments of the path closed throughout this time to facilitate the works. Some minor realignments of the footpath are planned to occur to improve the long-term outcome for the footpath and the adjacent trees.
Following the footpath renewal, Council have plans to install a new shelter adjacent to the playground and resurface the existing courts.
