Developer Signage

Council is working in partnership with the development industry to replace over 100 advertising signs with a more consistent approach, incorporating 14 signs within the Mount Barker township.Developer Signage

The new signs, funded by the developers, will provide directional information for visitors to the many development sites and display villages within Mount Barker, while being less obtrusive and blending with the natural environment.

The new signs are constructed from corten steel which will oxidise to a rustic style finish soon after installation, similar to the bus stop shelter on Adelaide Road adjoining the freeway interchange.

Installation of the new signs will commence at the end of July and take about two weeks. Work to remove the existing signs is underway and is expected to be completed by mid August.
