Electronic Delivery of Rate Notice

Mount Barker District Council ratepayers can now opt to receive, pay and store quarterly rate notices electronically via:

Council is now using email as the preferred way of contacting ratepayers regarding issuing of rate notices, Council initiatives, consultations, events, road works etc.

  4. Register your property

If you have previously signed up to Ezybill, your email address will be used for delivery of your rate notice as well as other Council related purposes.

BPAY View

BPAY View is offered by many banks. It’s an easy way to have your bills electronically delivered directly to your online banking.

BPAY View sends bills straight to the same online banking you use to pay them, putting an end to bills getting lost. Depending on your bank you’ll receive a convenient SMS, email or bank message reminder to pay your bill. Its secure online access and easier on the environment too, with no need to print paper copies.

How do I pay a BPAY View bill?

Once you have registered and when you receive your electronically delivered rate notice just select it from your BPAY View summary list, and click Pay Bill. Your BPAY payment will be ready to submit immediately, with all the payment details filled in for you. All you have to do is submit it – and you’re done.

Follow three simple steps to sign up:

  1. Login to your online banking account
  2. Look for the BPAY View or View Bills section
  3. Register to receive your Mount Barker District Council rate notice, providing your Name, Valuation Number and Reference number

Once you are registered and have added Mount Barker District Council as a provider, the next quarterly rates notice will be delivered into the electronic mailbox and can be viewed and/or paid through these portals. After registration, paper notices will no longer be issued via postal delivery.
