Get your FREE kitchen caddy starter kit

Did you know – about half of what we throw into the garbage bin is food and garden vegetation?
Mount Barker District Council residents with a serviced Green Organics Bin are entitled to one (1) free kitchen caddy starter kit per residence*. The kit includes an aerated kitchen caddy, a roll of compostable bags** and an information brochure on use, including stickers for your bins.
Kitchen caddies and compostable bags can be used to collect food scraps from your kitchen. Full compostable bags can then be placed into your green organics bin to produce compost.
If you don’t have a green organics bin, kitchen caddies can also be used to collect food scraps for home composting systems, worm farms or as feed for chickens.
To apply for your FREE starter kit please complete the online kitchen caddy form.
