Summit Showdown naming rights sponsor announced
Built is the managing contractor for the new $320.8m Mount Barker Hospital development currently under construction and has successfully delivered several projects in Mount Barker during the past decade including the town’s new emergency department in 2023.
Mayor David Leach thanked Built for coming on board as the naming rights sponsor for the pre-season match simulation between the Adelaide Football Club and the Port Adelaide Football Club and said there was ‘great synergy’ to the partnership.
“Council and Built are both focused on making a positive impact in the community – major events like the Built Summit Showdown have an impact by providing a boost to the local economy, giving residents opportunities to come together and maximising the use of our facilities,” the Mayor said.
“As the managing contractor for the new Mount Barker hospital development, Built’s community impact will be felt for generations to come as it delivers a new facility that will transform health care delivery across the region with its increased capability and capacity.
“Having local businesses like Built sponsor local events such as the Summit Showdown is a fantastic outcome and shows what can be achieved when like-minded organisations and companies unite for the good of the community.”
Built General Manager Henry Meaney said the company was looking forward to continuing its partnership with Mount Barker District Council and contributing to ongoing investment in the region.
“We’re honoured to be the naming rights sponsor of the Built Summit Showdown and to collaborate with the Mount Barker District Council,” Mr Meaney said.
“The Built Summit Showdown represents not only an exciting sports event but also a celebration of Mount Barker’s progress and the shared vision for a vibrant and connected future.
“As we continue to work on the new Mount Barker Hospital project, we’re proud to play an active role in the region’s growth and development, and this partnership provides a great opportunity to connect with local residents and be part of an event that fosters connection and brings people together.”
First bounce for the Built Summit Showdown will be at 5pm.
