What times of the day does Council's waste contractor operate between?

The Kerbside Collection Service operates between the hours of 7am and 7pm in township residential areas, along township main streets, CBD areas (Mount Barker), and along rural roads the service may start from 6am.

All bins are to be placed adjacent to the kerbside at the front of the property or an equivalent point determined between the contractor and the resident. Bins are to be placed at least 50cm apart between 4pm the day before collection day and 6am on collection day. Bins not placed out by this time may be classified as a non-collection and the contractor may not collect this bin until the following scheduled collection day i.e. one or two weeks later depending on the bin type.
