Am I entitled to a green waste collection, and where do I get a green waste bin from?

Residential properties within areas classified as 'Township' for the purposes of the kerbside collection receive a fortnightly green waste collection service. To establish whether your property is within this boundary, please refer to our online Kerbside Waste Collection eMaps. 

From 1 October 2026, residents designated as 'township' who apply for new bins will receive a 240L green lidded bin for green waste. This applies to new bin applications only. Green bins will not be issued retrospectively. The Council provided green waste bin will be owned by and remain the property Council and must remain with the property.
