Are council offices moving to the City Centre?
The Council-owned building at the corner of Morphett and Stephen Streets will not be dedicated solely to Council offices. While some customer-facing staff may be based there, the primary focus of the building has shifted.
It is planned to include a co-working hub designed to facilitate collaboration and connection among individuals and businesses. The building could also accommodate a university presence, along with spaces for youth and community activities, multi-use meeting rooms, and enhanced customer service facilities.
