Information on prizes and entry details form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The promoter is Mount Barker District Council, 6 Dutton Road, Mount Barker SA 5251.

Eligibility

Unless otherwise specified in promotions for the competition:

• Entry to the competition is only open to residents of Mount Barker district, excluding employees of Mount Barker District Council and their immediate families, and employees of any partner organisation and their immediate families (where 'immediate family' means a spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee);
• Limit of one entry per person permitted;
• The competition commences on the advertised date in promotions announcing the competition;
• The closing date and time of the competition will be specified in promotions announcing the competition, and entries must be submitted by this date and time to be eligible for entry.
• The promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity of the person claiming the prize. Proof considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. In the event that the person claiming the prize/s cannot provide suitable proof of identity, the promoter in its absolute discretion may disqualify this person.

Details of the prize will be specified in promotions announcing the competition and on the competition web page.

Where the prize/s offered are movie passes:

• These prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-refundable and not convertible to cash and will be subject to any restrictions printed on the passes or otherwise specified;
• If for a 3D movie, the movie passes will not include any additional cost associated with purchasing/hiring 3D glasses required to attend a 3D session;
• Not all cinemas in SA may accept the movie passes e.g. some cinemas in country SA areas.

Where the prize/s offered are not movie passes:

• These prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-refundable and not convertible to cash and may be subject to some restrictions.

How prizes are awarded

How prize/s are awarded will be specified in the promotions announcing the competition and on the competition web page. Generally, the prize/s will be awarded on the basis of:

• A random draw from entries received from entrants who have followed the competition instructions, or, where relevant,
• The entry that has, in the opinion of the promoter, demonstrated the highest level of originality and creativity.

If the prize/s (or part of any prize/s) become unavailable the promoter, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize/s (or that part of the prize/s) with prize/s to the equal value and/or specification.

The promoter reserves the right to forfeit prize/s in the event of a winner:

• being unable to satisfy the competition terms and conditions, or
• not contacting Mount Barker District Council within 5 business days following the winner/s announcement, or
• not claiming the prize/s within 5 business days following the winner/s announcement.

In these scenarios, the promoter, at its discretion, reserves the right to select a new winner or to nullify the prize/s.

Winner notification

Unless otherwise specified in promotions for the competition winners will be notified via email provided on the competition web page.

Other

• No responsibility is accepted for late or lost entries.
• Any costs associated with entering the competition is the entrant's responsibility. Travel costs are not included and not part of the prize description.
• The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• All contestants release from and indemnify Mount Barker District Council against all liability cost.
• Entrants and participants in the competition acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook.
• Entrants and participants in the competition release Facebook and its associated companies from any and all liability arising from the competition.
• All times specified in competition details refer to South Australia time zone.
