Do I have to pay for the new bins up-front?

New and Additional Bins - the cost of new 140L (blue/red lid) waste bins and new 240L (yellow lid) recycling bins is included in the Annual Service Charge.

Replacement bins – it depends; please refer to the FAQs below regarding replacement bins.

Green waste bins - from 1 October 2026, residents designated as 'township' who apply for new bins will receive a 240L green lidded bin for green waste. This applies to new bin applications only. Green bins will not be issued retrospectively.
