If I have just built/bought a house and there are no bins there currently, how do I access them?
Property owners requiring a new Kerbside Waste Service are required to complete the Request for Kerbside Refuse Service online form. A minimum of 10 business days are required to process an application. Once approved, Council’s Contractor Solo will arrange for a 140L waste bin (red lid) and 240L recycling bin (yellow lid) to be delivered to your property and will be placed on kerbside for your collection.
From 1 October 2026, residents designated as 'township' who apply for new bins will also receive a 240L green lidded bin for green waste.
