What waste services do Commercial and Industrial properties receive?

Council will provide the following services for commercial and industrial premises (per rateable property) within the Kerbside Collection Area:

• One weekly waste collection service and one 140L bin;
• One fortnightly recycling collection service and one 240L recycling bin

Council will not provide commercial and industrial properties with a green organics Kerbside Collection Service. Businesses are responsible for the appropriate disposal of waste material produced in excess of this amount.

Large commercial shopping centres that have a number of small shops and where mobile garbage bins are not deemed practical by Council, the shopping centre may opt to use its own commercial service but is required to provide a waste management plan to satisfy Council of the waste services to be provided to all tenants.
