Report Abandoned Trolleys

Abandoned Trolleys

Sometimes abandoned trolleys end up in creeks, blocking footpaths or become impromptu rubbish bins. Help keep our community tidy by returning your trolley to the nearest trolley station.

While it is an offence for anyone to remove a trolley from a shopping centre precinct, retailers are the ones responsible for collecting trolleys dumped across the city.

Seen someone abandoning a trolley?

If you see someone abandoning a shopping trolley please report it to Council on 8391 7200 (people caught abandoning a shopping trolley can be issued with expiations).
