Council is seeking the community's feedback on the draft Child and Youth Action Plan 2024-2028.
Addressing the evolving needs of this growing population is paramount. A dedicated focus on children and youth ensures access to essential services such as education, healthcare, recreational facilities, and social support. In alignment with our Community Development Lead Strategy 2021-2026, the Child and Youth Action Plan stands as an important deliverable of the Council.
This four-year plan outlines key actions and ongoing services that the Council commits to implementing, aimed at supporting the needs and aspirations of children and young people in our area. It is the result of extensive consultation, incorporating insights and ideas shared by children, young people, community members, and stakeholders alike.
